POSITION: Summer School Special Education or Resource Teacher
Session I: June 24 to July 11
Session II: July 29 to August 8
Applicants may choose session 1, or only session 2, or both sessions.
Monday-Thursday (Friday and July 4th off) with paid prep time
Life skills instruction from 8-11 am; Student Lunch & bus loading 11:00-11:45; Resource Room Instruction begins at noon with staggered or flexible ending times in the afternoon.
Applicants may apply only for life skills, or for resource room instruction. The district prefers candidates interested in teaching both life skills and in the resource room.
Applicants willing to co-teach will also be considered.
SALARY RANGE: $25-$50 per hour
Compensation will be commensurate with education and experience.
QUALIFICATIONS: Valid Oregon Teacher’s License with appropriate endorsement level required

JOB SUMMARY:
Implement, supervise, and maintain a high-quality learning environment for student learning. Develop, plan, and implement curriculum, lesson plans, and educational programs for student audiences within areas of expertise. Advise, test, and teach student audiences in various academic subjects.
